Shell is building a major new pipeline in the Gulf of Mexico
Why it matters: Shell is building a major new pipeline in the Gulf of Mexico, expanding its oil transport capabilities and supporting BP's new Kaskida project.
The big picture: The Rome Pipeline will connect Shell's Green Canyon hub to Louisiana's coast, spanning 100 miles and targeting operations by 2028.
